Russia's NTV Names New Staffer To Board

9 July 2004 -- More staff changes at Russia's NTV television station have been announced.
The station has named Tamara Gavrilova to its board of directors. She will be in charge of finances and managing the station's budget. Gavrilova, a native of St. Petersburg, formerly served in the St. Petersburg city government, under current President Vladimir Putin.

NTV earlier this week named Vladimir Kulistikov, who previously worked at the state-run RTR network, as the station's new general director.

Since 2001, when it was taken over by the state-controlled Gazprom company, NTV has undergone numerous staff and program changes.
