Four Killed By Mortar Attack In Baghdad

17 August 2004 -- Iraq's Interior Ministry says a mortar attack in central Baghdad has killed four people.
An Interior Ministry spokesman, Colonel Adnan Abd al-Rahman, initially said the explosion was caused by a car bomb, but later said it was caused by mortar fire.

The government said more than 20 people were injured.

There has been no claim of responsibility for the blast.
