U.S.-Led Forces Kill Four Militants In Afghan Raid

4 November 2004 -- The U.S. military says U.S.-led forces killed four suspected militants in a raid early today on a compound in south-central Afghanistan.
A military spokesman, Mark McCann, said a fifth suspected militant was injured and detained by the troops. He did not elaborate on the reason for the raid in Deh Rawud, in Uruzgan Province.

Deh Rawud District, some 400 kilometers southeast of Kabul, has seen numerous attacks on U.S. forces hunting for Taliban and Al-Qaeda fighters.
