Bombs Kill Iraqi Guardsmen, U.S. Soldier

10 November 2004 -- Roadside bombs killed Iraqi and U.S. soldiers during patrols in northern and central Iraq today.
Iraq's commander in the northern region said six members of the Iraqi National Guard were killed and two were wounded when a bomb exploded on a road outside Tuz, about 60 kilometers north of Kirkuk.

The U.S. military said a roadside bomb killed one American soldier and wounded another near the town of Balad, southeast of Tikrit, the base for the 1st Infantry Division.
