100 Members Of Opposition Group Return To Iran

28 February 2005 -- Iran's official IRNA agency says a group of 100 exiled former members of an Iranian opposition group arrived in Tehran today from Iraq and will be debriefed before returning to their families.
The Mujahedin Khalq, Iran's biggest armed opposition group, operated from Iraq as a base for its activities against the Islamic regime of Iran in early 1980s.

Some 4,000-5,000 members of the group have been disarmed since the U.S.-led coalition forces invaded Iraq.

The Mujahedin Khalq is listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. and the European Union.
