11 July 2005 (RFE/RL) --Ceremonies are being held today to mark the 10th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre.
At least 7,000 Muslim men and boys were killed in July 1995 when Bosnian Serb rebel forces overran the UN-protected enclave of Srebrenica in Bosnia.
Some 600 graves with the latest remains to be identified by DNA analysis will be marked today.
About 50,000 mourners are expected to attend the memorial, including Serbian President Boris Tadic, despite calls from some Serbian nationalists not to go.
A newly opened mass grave is due to be uncovered during today's memorial. Experts expect it to contain at least 50 bodies.
More than 1,300 victims have already been buried at the two-year-old memorial cemetery in the nearby town of Potocari.
