Car Bomb Kills At Least Two In Kirkuk

12 July 2004 (RFE/RL) -- Police in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk say a car bomb exploded there today killing at least two civilians.
Police said the bomb went off in the industrial district of Kirkuk after a U.S. convoy passed by.

In other violence, gunmen shot dead police Colonel Amir Mirza in a market in Baghdad.

And a U.S. soldier today died of injuries suffered in a land-mine explosion near the capital on 11 July.
