Four Killed In Attack On Iraqi Police

(RFE/RL) March 22, 2006 -- At least four Iraqi policemen are reported to have been killed in an attack this morning by suspected insurgents on their station south of Baghdad.

The attack on the station in Al-Mada'in comes after at least 18 Iraqi police were killed on March 21 in an insurgent assault in Al-Muqdadiyah, to the north of Baghdad. At least 10 insurgents were reported killed in the fighting.
