Up To Seven Killed In Baghdad

(RFE/RL) March 24, 2006 -- Reports say up to seven people have been killed in Baghdad in various incidents.
Gunmen raided a bakery in the south of the capital, shooting dead four employees. When police arrived on the scene, a roadside bomb exploded and killed an officer. Gunmen also ambushed police in the west of the city, shooting dead two officers.

Danish authorities, meanwhile, say a Danish soldier was killed and another injured when their patrol vehicle hit a bomb north of Al-Basrah on March 23.

Denmark has 530 soldiers station in southern Iraq under British command.
