Road Accident In Iran Kills 22

(RFE/RL) June 26, 2006 -- Iranian state television says 22 people were killed today when a bus and a truck collided head-on in the east of the country.

The accident occurred on a road linking the cities of Birjand and Nahbandan.

The circumstances of the collision were not given.
