Iraq Violence Claims At Least 20 Lives

(RFE/RL) November 20, 2006 -- Twenty Iraqis were killed today in a series of attacks in the capital Baghdad, Al-Ramadi, and Ba'qubah.

Also, the bodies of 25 Iraqis who had been kidnapped, tortured, and murdered were found on the streets of the capital and in Al-Dujayl, north of Baghdad.


In Baghdad, two government officials escaped assassination attempts, but two of their bodyguards were killed and two wounded. More killings were reported throughout the capital.
