Explosion Kills Four Afghans At Camp In Pakistan

(RFE/RL) January 15, 2007 -- An explosion at an Afghan refugee camp in northwestern Pakistan killed at least four refugees and injured several others early today.

The cause of the blast was not immediately clear, but a local police chief in the Peshawar district said it may have been a bomb.


Hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees live in Pakistan, many in refugee camps in the Northwest Frontier Province.
