Iraqi National Security Adviser Muwaffaq al-Rubay'i announced the move in Amman today as he wrapped up two days of talks with top Jordanian officials.

Al-Rubay'i said he also discussed with the Jordanians ways of easing the "hardships" facing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who have sought refuge in Jordan from the violence in Iraq.

In talks August 14 with Jordanian Foreign Minister AbdaIlah Khatib, al-Rubay'i said his country is seeking to establish a "strategic" relationship with Jordan.
