Three Russian Troops Wounded In Ingushetia Attack

(RFE/RL) September 5, 2007 -- Three Russian Interior Ministry troops have been wounded after their unit came under attack in the restive southern republic of Ingushetia.

Today's early-morning attack came after Interfax reported the arrest of two more suspects in the murder last week of the family of an ethnic-Russian teacher in Ingushetia.

Three suspects are already being held.

Another Russian teacher and her two children were shot dead in Ingushetia last month.

Officials suspect Islamist extremists in the murders.
