Washington, 30 July 1997 (RFE/RL) - The World Bank has approved a $10 million credit for Armenia to help support a health care project.

The Bank says Armenia's health care development project will strengthen the government's health care reform efforts by improving the quality of primary health care, as well as the efficiency of public health expenditures.

The project is designed to improve health care services and provide better access to care in local communities.
