Two ministers in Tunisia's interim government have resigned, a day after the interim prime minister stepped down following futher protests to rid the government of figures associated with the former hardline regime.
Mohamed Afif Chelbi, the minister of industry and technology, and Mohamed Nouri Jouini, the planning and international cooperation minister, were both in the government of former president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, who was ousted in a popular uprising in January.
Interim Prime Minister Mohammed Ghannouchi, who also worked under Ben Ali, stepped down on February 27.
