Kazakh Opposition Says Elections Marred By Violations

After the Nur Otan party of long-serving President Nursultan Nazarvbaev won Kazakhstan's parliamentary elections with 80.7 percent of the vote on January 15, the opposition has complained that the elections were marred by violations. A correspondent for RFE/RL's Kazakh Service filmed suspected ballot-stuffing at election booth No. 374 near Almaty.
