Tatar-born pop star Alsou, who's the national singer of Tatarstan and the daughter of a Russian oligarch, has released a new album called "Mother Tongue."
Alsou mostly sings in Russian, has recorded songs in English, but this is her first album in Tatar. Apparently Tatars are very proud.
