European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton has proposed reconvening mid-next month the long-stalled talks between world powers and Iran over its controversial nuclear program, AFP reported.
EU spokesman Darren Ennis said Ashton's proposed date for the talks is November 15-18.
Ashton won a favorable response from Tehran after proposing November talks in the Austrian capital on October 14.
Dialogue between Iran and the 5+1 group or world powers -- Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States, and Germany -- has been stalled since October 2009, when the two groups met in Geneva.
