Obama To Address Nation On Gulf Oil Spill

U.S. President Barack Obama has visited the stricken region four times

U.S. President Barack Obama plans a nationally televised address on June 15 from the White House's Oval Office on his administration's efforts to contain the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Obama will speak hours after he returns to Washington from his fourth trip to a Gulf region suffering from the oil coming ashore in coastal areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.

Meanwhile, oil executives are due to testify before a congressional energy and environment hearing.
