People who were not members of the crew were present in the cockpit of the plane of Polish President Lech Kazcynski before its fatal crash in Russia in April, according to a top Russian aviation official.

Tatyana Anodyna, head of the interstate committee for the former Soviet Union that is investigating the crash, said the voice of one of the individuals has been identified.

Ninety-six people, including Kaczynski, his wife, and dozens of senior Polish officials were killed in the crash on April 10 outside the western Russian city of Smolensk.
