Suicide Bomber Kills Six In Afghanistan

Government officials said a suicide bomber has killed at least six people, including four children, on December 28 in Afghanistan's southeastern province of Khost.

Thirty other schoolchildren were reportedly wounded in the car-bomb attack, which targeted a local government building.

Meanwhile, NATO sources said a roadside bomb killed two Canadian soldiers and two Afghans in the country's volatile Kandahar Province on December 27.

More than 290 foreign soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan this year, most of them in bombings carried out by insurgents.
