Two Police Officers Killed In Dagestan

Two police officers were shot dead and another was wounded in an attack in the southern Russian republic of Dagestan.

The local interior ministry said gunmen opened fire on a police post in the city of Derbent. Police are searching for the attackers.

Dagestan, in the volatile North Caucasus region, has been the site of regular attacks against the security services.
