Two Tajiks Killed In Moscow Building Collapse

MOSCOW -- Four bodies have been recovered from a collapsed building in Moscow, two of which have been identified as Tajik citizens.

The building's roof collapsed on December 10, burying at least six workers.

Karomat Sharifov, the head of the Tajik National League in Moscow, told RFE/RL's Tajik Service that at least two more workers are still under the debris from the collapse and that rescue operations continue.

He also said that the local prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the accident.
