U.S. Drone Targets Militant Hideout

A U.S. drone has fired missiles in northwest Pakistan near the Afghan border.

Pakistani intelligence sources say four people were killed in the strike on a suspected Al-Qaeda and Taliban hideout. Five others were reported wounded in the strike near Mir Ali.

The town in North Waziristan is a known safe-haven for fighters loyal to Pakistani militant commander, Hafiz Gul Bahadur. He is allied with Al-Qaeda and the Afghan Taliban.
