The number of planes in the fleet of the Russian airline company Aeroflot is set to more than double by 2014.
The company's board of directors met on February 27 and agreed to increase the number of planes the company has from the current 114 to 255 by the end of 2014.
A statement from Aeroflot noted there would be a significant increase in the number of larger aircraft, such as the Sukhoi Super Jet-100, the Airbus A330 and A320, and Boeing's 737.
The company said that by 2025 it would have one of the most modern and energy-efficient fleets in the world.
