Afghanistan's Independent Election Commission (IEC) has announced it will delay the announcement of full results of the country's presidential election until April 26.
The IEC said it needs two extra days to complete fraud investigations and allow for recounts.
The results will still be preliminary and must be investigated by the Election Complaints Commission before final results are due May 14.
The latest partial results released showed former Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah in the lead with 44.4 percent, followed by former Finance Minister Ashraf Ghani with 32.2 percent.
If no candidate gets more than 50 percent, there will be a runoff between the two leading candidates.
Meanwhile, the Afghan Electoral Media Commission said it has fined 13 TV channels and one radio station for violating media laws by providing biased election coverage.
