A group of Afghan women have formed a unique community on top of a hill in Kabul. Known as ‘’Women’s Hill,” the community of widows is breaking taboos in a country dominated by men -- working for a living, and even building their own houses. Their community raises questions about how Afghanistan treats an estimated 2 million women who have been made widows by more than 30 years of war. (Frud Bezhan and Haroon Sabawoon, RFE/RL)
