Deadly Bomb Blasts In Afghan East

Afghan officials say at least three civilians have been killed and 10 others injured when two bombs exploded in the eastern province of Nangarhar.

The chief of the province's Achin district, Rahman Momand, said the first bomb was placed in a car and the second one was a roadside bomb.

He said both explosions took place on November 28.

No one claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Roadside bombs planted by militants are the main cause of violent deaths for Afghan civilians.
