Heavy Police Presence At Armenia Protests

Large numbers of riot police with batons, helmets and shields were on the streets of the Armenian capital, Yerevan, as thousands of people marched in protest at rising electricity prices. Armored vehicles provided backup, while plain clothes officers tried to usher journalists away as the tension on the streets mounted. (RFE/RL's Armenian Service)
