Armenian police have detained more than 400 people in Yerevan as protesters blocked streets during opposition-led demonstrations on May 17 to force Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian from office. For the last month, the opposition has called for civil disobedience and accuses Pashinian of making unacceptable concessions in negotiations with Azerbaijan over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
