Bombings and shootings have reportedly killed at least 28 people in Iraq.
The French AFP news agency reports that 20 people were killed and nearly 50 others wounded in attacks on June 4 which struck in and around Baghdad, and in Salaheddin and Kirkuk provinces to the north.
In the deadliest attack, officials said two car bombs went off in the center of Kirkuk, killing eight people.
On June 3 in the western province of Anbar, AP says a suicide bomber targeted a group of pro-government, antimilitant Sunni militiamen, killing eight people and wounding 14.
The militiamen were patrolling a camp for families who had fled the monthslong fighting in Anbar between pro-government forces and Al-Qaeda-linked militants.
