Explosions Kill Two In Bahrain

A series of bomb blasts have killed two people in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

Police said the victims were Asian migrant workers. A third person was injured.

Police say the blasts were caused by homemade bombs.

The state news agency described the explosions as "terrorist acts."

Bahrain has been hit by unrest since February 2011, when mass protests led by its Shi'ite majority broke out.

The protesters demanded more rights from the ruling Sunni royal family.

The demonstrations were crushed by security forces, but sporadic protests and clashes with security forces have continued.
