Six Due In London Court To Face Terrorism Charges

Six men are due to appear in court in the British capital, London, today after being charged with terrorism offenses.

Police said the six men -- aged between 25 and 32 -- were arrested one week ago as part of a counterterrorism operation in Birmingham, Britain's second-largest city.

West Midlands police said in a statement that four of the men have been charged with preparing for acts of terrorism in Britain, while the other two were charged with failing to disclose information about acts of terrorism.

Two of the suspects are also accused of traveling to Pakistan for training in terrorism, including bomb-making, weapons, and poison-making, as well as making a martyrdom film, according to police.

Officials said a seventh Birmingham man is still being questioned about possible terrorist-plot links.
