Attack On Iraqi Policemen's Home Kills 10 On Violent Day

At least 13 people have been reported killed in two bomb attacks in Iraq.

Police said suspected militants bombed a house belonging to two policemen and their families south of Baghdad, killing 10 people, including women and children.

The attack took place in Mussayab, a predominantly Shi’ite town that lies in a mixed sectarian region.

In the town of Kirkuk, north of Baghdad, at least three people were reported killed and five others wounded by a bomb that had been attached to a motorcycle in the city center.

The violence marks the latest in a spate of attacks in the wake of the withdrawal of U.S. troops in December.
