At Least Two Killed In Drone Attack In Pakistan

Pakistani security officials say a suspected U.S. missile strike has killed at least two men in the country's northwest near the Afghan border.

The officials said the men were riding a motorcycle near the town of Mir Ali in North Waziristan tribal region when they were hit.

The identities of the men were not known.

North Waziristan -- one of Pakistan's seven tribal districts -- is known as a safe haven for Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked militants, including the Haqqani network.

The United States has repeatedly demanded that Pakistan take action against the group which has carried out some of the deadliest attacks on U.S. and allied forces across the border in Afghanistan.
