A student was killed and at least four other people were wounded during clashes between security forces and Muslim Brotherhood supporters at an Islamic university in Cairo.
Some 60 people were arrested during the violence on December 28 at the Al-Azhar University campus.
Pro-Brotherhood students were attempting to prevent other students from entering the university to take exams.
When some of the protesters set fire to one of the university buildings, police and security forces moved in firing tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.
The 19-year-old student was shot dead in the clashes.
Police said those arrested had weapons, including petrol bombs.
