Explosion At Benghazi Police Station Injures Four

A car bomb has exploded outside a police station in Libya's largest city, Benghazi, injuring four police officers.

It was the latest in a series of attacks on security officials in Benghazi.

The attack also destroyed three cars and damaged the police station and nearby buildings.

The Libyan government is struggling to control armed individuals and militias that gained power during an armed conflict that ousted Muammar Qaddafi last year.

Benghazi was the birthplace of the revolt.

Benghazi has been hit by several bombings and attacks this year on international convoys and official buildings.

Last month, U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed by a mortar attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
