Fire From Syria Lands In Turkey Again

Shells fired from Syria have landed inside Turkey again.

Turkish media said the shells struck two areas of the city center of Kilis on April 13, triggering panic, but causing no casualties.

Turkey’s military retaliated by firing at targets inside Syria in line with its rules of engagement.

On April 12, Turkey’s military fired at Islamic State group targets in Syria after rockets hit the center of Kilis, killing one person and wounding seven others.

The wider province of Kilis borders areas in Syria that are controlled by the Islamic State extremist group, Syrian Kurdish militia or antigovernment Syrian rebels.
