Five Killed In Siberia During Aircraft's Emergency Landing

Five people died and four were severely injured when a Russian airliner crashed during an emergency landing on a river in Siberia.

Russia's Investigative Committee said 33 people were aboard the plane when it attempted a landing on the Ob River, some 2,500 kilometers northeast of Moscow.

The aircraft reportedly attempted the emergency landing because of a fire in one of its engines.
