Germany Suffering The Wurst From Iran Sanctions

Ever expect to see the president of the Society for the Protection of Nuremberg Bratwurst quoted in an article about Iran sanctions?

Indeed, that's what you'll find in this "USA Today" story about carnivorous Germans suffering due to the rising price of Iranian sheep intestines -- the material of preference for the bratwurst casings.

"I cannot imagine that as revenge on Europe, Iran might refuse to deliver intestines to prevent the Germans from eating bratwurst," Rainer Heimler, the sausage society's president, says.

Neither can we.
