New Greek Coalition Wins Confidence Vote

Greece's new unity government of Prime Minister Lucas Papademos has won a confidence vote in parliament.

The government has said its priority was ratifying a 130 billion-euro ($177 billion) bailout package agreed at an EU summit last month, which imposes austerity measures that have triggered widespread protests in Greece.

The crisis led to the resignation last week of George Papandreou as prime minister.
