Hurricane Irma Causes 'Enormous Damage' To Caribbean Islands

Aerial footage revealed widespread destruction caused by Hurricane Irma on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten. Video shot by the Royal Netherlands Navy on September 6 showed damaged homes, hotels, and boats on the Dutch part of the island. On the French side, authorities counted at least eight dead. St. Maarten is an independent nation within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with a population of around 40,000. (Reuters)
