Ingushetia Bombing Injures Three

Three people have been reported injured in an explosion in a marketplace in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia.

The August 27 explosion took place at a trading center in Ingushetia’s largest city of Nazran.

Officials said the three victims, one of whom was described as being in grave condition, have been hospitalized.

An investigation have been launched in the incident.

Violence between suspected Islamic militants and security forces in Russia's North Caucasus region leaves scores of people dead and injured each year.

The most volatile republics in the region are Daghestan, Ingushetia, Chechnya, and Kabardino-Balkaria.
