At Least Five Killed In Explosion At Filming Location In Iran

At least five people have been killed and several more injured in an explosion at a filming location near Tehran.

One news agency put the number of dead at six.

The deadly blast occurred at the shooting of a war movie by controversial film director Masud Dehnamaki.

Dehnamaki told Iran's official IRNA news agency that explosives needed for the film detonated while being taken out of a car.

Iranian news agencies report that the special-effects director and members of the production team are among the dead.

Dehnamaki is best known for his controversial 2007 trilogy "The Outcasts" ("Ekhrajiha," also translated as "Expelled"), which set box-office records in Iran.
