Iran Says Oil Officials Attacked In Iraq

Iran's Oil Ministry said that a visiting Iranian oil delegation was attacked by "terrorists" in Iraq on June 22 but were unharmed.

An Iraqi interior ministry source said two Iraqi guards were wounded when gunmen opened fire on the Iranian convoy.

The Iranian oil ministry's Shana website said the convoy came under attack as it was heading to the Electricity Ministry building in central Baghdad.

It did not say who was suspected of being behind the attack. Shana said Iran's deputy oil minister, Ali Reza Zeighami, headed the Iranian delegation.
