Iraq Attacks Kill At Least Three

At least three people have been killed in attacks against Iraq's security forces in Baghdad.

A suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden car into an army checkpoint in Baghdad's western suburb of Abu Ghraib, killing at least one soldier and injuring several others.

In another attack, a bomb attached to a policeman's car exploded early on March 31 in the capital's northern Kazimiyah neighborhood, killing an officer and a bystander.

The attacks come ahead of provincial elections scheduled for April 20, due to be held in 12 of Iraq's 18 provinces, the country's first polls since a parliamentary vote in March 2010.
