Car Bombs Kill More Than A Dozen People In Baghdad

A series of car bomb attacks in Baghdad has killed at least 15 people and wounded dozens more.

The bombings on March 15 mainly targeted commercial areas in eastern, southern and northern Baghdad.

Four people were killed and 13 wounded when a bomb exploded on a commercial street in the southeastern al-Ameen district and minutes later another car bomb exploded at a falafel restaurant killing three more people and wounding 14 others in the northern Qahira district.

A third car bomb exploded in a commercial district in western Baghdad killing four people and wounding some 15 others.

Later a car bomb in the northwestern Shula neighborhood killed four people and wounded nine.

Health and security officials confirmed the casualty figures.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
