Iraqi Car Bomb Wounds Judge, Kills Two

An Iraqi judge who oversees terrorism cases has been injured in a car bomb explosion in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.

Reports say the blast on killed at least two people and wounded more than 10 others.

Judge Aziz Ibrahim was reported in stable condition.

Police said the explosion went off as the judge was arriving at his office in downtown Kirkuk.

Kirkuk, some 290 kilometers north of Baghdad, is ethnically divided among Kurds, Arabs, and Turkomen, each of whom claim rights to control the city and the oil-rich lands in the region.
