Iraqi officials say a suicide bomber has attacked a police station in Tikrit, killing at least seven people and wounding at least 14.
Police and medical sources in the city 180 kilometers north of Baghdad say a truck loaded with explosives blew up outside the station on the morning of April 1.
There has been no claim of responsibility, but similar attacks are typical of the Islamic State of Iraq, a branch of Al-Qaeda.
The Sunni militant group often targets Shi'a and those working with Iraq's Shi'ite-led government.
